This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom needs supplies to hatch chicks!! We will be hatching them every year so that students can see and understand the lifecycle of chickens! We need supplies to make sure the chicks have the best life possible!

When students are able to watch an egg develop into a chick and then hatch they are amazed!!

I love to watch the kiddos learn about them!! The incubator will allow us to hatch the eggs and the students can easily view the chicks as they are hatching. The brooder will be amazing because the children will be able to see the chicks very easily! The feeder, waterer, grit, food, and vitamins are all vital for optimal chick growth!

Hatching chicks is an amazing opportunity for my students. It will give them a better understanding of the chicken lifecycle! It will give them hands on experience as well!
