Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I can recall a great moment at the beginning of the school year when a student said to me, "I like that everything has a label." Although supplies are labeled and organized, there is a lack of storage in the classroom for student artwork.
These storage cubbies will provide each student with their own designated place where they can store their sketchbooks and artwork.
Additionally, they will take responsibility for taking care of and cleaning out their cubbies. Having cubbies will definitely help to keep the art room organized and encourage students to pick up materials needed and put them away when done.
