This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Spanish-speaking students have shown a strong interest in reading, but many of the Spanish books in our library date back to around 2009. I am more than happy to create this project to provide them with a selection of Spanish books chosen by them. They've expressed excitement about getting access to newer titles in the nonfiction section. I am passionate about instilling a love of reading in children, no matter their learning style and level.

It's really simple, kids need books!

To support their enthusiasm and foster a lifelong love of reading, I asked them to help create a wish list of books they would love to see in the library. I'm thrilled to share their thoughtful requests and hope you can help us update our collection to better reflect their interests and needs. I will always advocate for our library and its patrons. I appreciate your support.
