My Project
I am hoping to create a safe, comforting environment for students to be able to come to deal with their emotions, problems, concerns, etc. Student Services here at HMS is catered to our students to help with day to day needs. We provide hygiene products, changes of clothes, feminine products, school supplies, snacks. We have 3 grade level counselors that offer a great support system to our students. We have students that are sent to our office to either calm down from a stressful event, finish there work, talk about issues they are having. Creating a comfortable environment for them to be able to come in and relax is our main goal to help them navigate through their middle school years.
