My Project

I am requesting a variety of books that my students have requested.

At the end of every year, I have students response to a Google Survey asking what books they want to see added to our library.

Most of the books chosen are from popular series or books that will complete a set from a series. Currently, my students are interested in reading the I Survived series. The books are historical fiction and my students are very intrigued by this genre. I have also add some Dragon Masters books and Marvin Redpost books.

My students participate in two reading programs, Accelerated Reader (AR) and the 40 Book Challenge. These books will be used to help students reach their goals in these two programs. They will be able to take comprehension tests in AR and they will be able to reflect on the stories in their journals for the 40 books challenge.
