This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with an amazing and motivated group of 6th and 8th graders in the South Bronx. Nearly all of my students come from low-income households and are students of color. They are eager to learn and show up, despite the many hardships they face outside of school.
Academic planners help develop organizational skills as well as encourage students to take accountability of their work.
I want to empower my students to track their many commitments for this school years. Please help me provide planners for my middle schoolers!
