My Students
Students at my school are respectful, hard-working, creative and curious. They are currently reading about students their own age in different countries which is only fitting since they are diverse themselves representing many cultures.
Our students enjoy a good book, and like to share information about books they have read in one minute commercials we call book talks.
My Project
Students are participating in the Student Literacy Media Showcase. They will read one of the books requested and then complete a project about the book.
Students may create visual art, a trailer, a game, a diorama, an ABC booklet, or perform a dramatic presentation representing the book.
The variety of projects ensure that each student can be creative in their own way and shine!
Having their own copy of the book allows students to reread as necessary and dive into the book to show their understanding in their chosen project.
