Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The National Honor Society is creating a student business - please help them help our school community! Profits will go towards fulfilling the needs of our community (98% of which are free and reduced lunch) and future goals include assisting our students with post-secondary aid.

Students will learn business and economic basics, nutrition, math, and financial literacy skills.

Art and persuasive writing, advertising, decision-making and empathy will all come into play. It is a great way to synthesize all they have learned in the classroom!

Students getting involved in raising awareness and giving back to their communities will support school spirit and a positive school climate. Please help support us in the endeavor!!

The specific items will all go towards the school store: setting up/planning, creating advertisements and products with the Cricut machine, and keeping the business organized!
