This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a Title One school and my students deserve a comfy environment to sit and read books that interest them. I would love to have two bean bag chairs and to add some graphic novels and magazines to my library area to create an enriching environment for all children to want to sit and read a book. My students will be given opportunities during independent reading time to enjoy the graphic novels as well as reading the story works magazines. When a student finishes an assignment early they will be provided the opportunity to sit and relax and enjoy a good book.
