Student Journalists Need Equipment!

Help me give my students a camera and video and editing equipment for 100% student-produced journalism!

My Project

At our school, all student journalism is completely student-run and student-produced. Students use the Adobe Creative Suite to create video news broadcasts, web content, podcasts, and more. They need quality technology to continue doing all of this!

Our students are no strangers to fundraising.

The money that our students fundraise throughout the year goes to travel expenses to the annual journalism conference, which is held in Kansas City, MO this year, and toward keeping the cost of the yearbook cost of the yearbook at cost for students' families. That doesn't leave much left over for replacing lost or broken equipment, which is why we appreciate your donation so much.

Students are so excited to continue producing the school news broadcast with wireless lapel microphones. A Gimbal stabilizer will allow for higher quality mobile journalism so students can film sports and other events without producing shaky videos. We also need more camera batteries so students can photograph and video events longer. We are also requesting enough chargers, SD cards, adapters, and an organizer to make uploading more efficient.
