Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am excited to be teaching an amazing group of students remotely this year! They come from hard-working families trying to make ends meet during these unprecedented times. These kids will be working from home 100% of the time and need as much support as they can get, especially in the area of technology.
My Project
Our Innovation Lab would like to include, Teq Sphero Mini packs. These tiny, app-enabled robots are a lot of fun and contain everything we would need to get started teaching robotics and the fundamentals of programming. Students can draw paths, use scratch blocks or write their own JavaScript text programs.
Many of our students do not have prior experiences with both coding and programming.
Sphero will give them an engaging and hands-on understanding of coding.
In addition, we are requesting the technology needed to write their own JavaScript text programs.
