Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning can already be difficult. Now add a layer of a learning disability. That can be even more difficult. Students in my classroom can earn coins through a variety of ways and then turn those coins in and redeem them for the requested prizes.
Students need a variety of motivators, whether they are internal, external, or both.
I am providing external motivators until students learn how to have that internal motivation for themselves.
All this work can take a toll on my back, so the chair will hopefully help me with that, as well.
