My Students

I have a wonderful class full of fabulous students! They love to learn in many different ways. We do a lot of hands-on activities, as well as using technology. They always strive to do their best at every thing they do. At our school, we do a lot of rotating and working with other teachers and students with various strengths.

One of the things we have focused on adding this year is technology.

They have really enjoyed this and we have seen it make a difference in their learning.

My Project

We have been lucky enough at our school to get classroom sets of Chromebooks for our upper grade classes. We have used them in our grade and class for many things, including spelling and vocabulary practice, math fluency practice, and typing. The students have really enjoyed practicing their skills on them.

The only problem we have is that a lot of the programs have sound and are difficult to play if other around you are also playing.

This is really distracting. They would benefit greatly from headphones that they could use in the classroom. Thanks in advance for any donations!
