Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all remember times where our families couldn't afford one of the cool shirts from our high school team. My students are from a title 1 school in the inner-city and are participating in their second year of a statewide Youth in Government program. This program focuses on teaching students leadership, collaboration, and the political process.

Title 1, BIPOC students are often the least represented in statewide opportunities which is why I am hoping to help these young leaders feel seen.

The shirts come in a variety of sizes with our student made logo. We would appreciate it so much if we could get these so students can wear them at their conference in January when other students from across Minnesota where theirs.
