Student Gardens to Grow!

Help me give my students resources to create gardens that nourish their growth!

My Project

Over the years we have learned that students love to see things grow. We want to start the year by having the students create their own gardens and zen gardens.

Help us help our students grow by giving them an opportunity to nourish plant growth and social emotional growth.

In the fall, each of our special education students will receive a planter to decorate. Then, they will put their plant in the soil. Throughout the year, they will be responsible for caring for the plant. Additionally, they will receive materials to make their own Zen garden. This will serve as a sensory tool they can use to cultivate better coping skills.
