Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am new to my school this year and I can tell that students are still struggling to get caught up to both socio-emotional and academic age-appropriate developmental levels.
I see my job as an art teacher as a vital place where students can feel safe and free to take risks and challenge themselves so that they can be free to learn.
The students will use this paper for healing, transformation, and to learn vital self-expressive skills. I’m very grateful for the support for our kids.
