My Project
Students enrolled in Culinary Arts have the opportunity to participate in Skills contest. Students volunteer to participate and then train to participate in contests. If more than 2 contestants sign up for a contest, a local contest is held.
That was the case this year, as 3 students signed up for Baking.
A local contest that mirrors State contest was held and using faculty and staff members, neutral judges using criteria provided selected the two participants.
Students will use the cooking items requested to participate in our contests. Students will use the scales, the bowls, and the gloves in baking. Students in Culinary arts will use the towels, salad spinner, plating kit, bowls scales and plastic containers to produce the dishes provided in the menu.
