This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been lucky enough to work with a hardworking, motivated group of 6th graders. They are eager to learn and are happy to be back in the classroom. This is their home away from home-the place they spend majority of their day, 185 days out of the year.

Our classroom is a safe space for students to learn.

If they have a question or just want some extra support, they are welcome to come and explore at our small group, white board table area. With this donation, students will have a smooth, comfortable transition when working.
