This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last week, my class, along with the rest of the school had to respond out of an abundance of caution to a possible emergency. When we were in our classroom, it became clear that we were going to be there through lunch and that I need to have snacks available during a time like the one we were in. To not only help keep the kids calm and happy, but to keep us all safe and not have a reason to leave.
I think having a non perishable items available to my students will help keep them busy, and redirect their attention to keeping our bodies quiet and safe.
