Help me give my students the titles that they requested for the library!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Hanson's classroom raised $994

My Students
The students at our school are constantly working toward being stewards of our watershed, empowered decision makers, historians and conscientious community members. We are located in south-central Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park. We are an active, artsy, outdoorsy and environmentally aware community. Being engaged with our "backyard" keeps us connected to our community.
Our daily goal is to explore learning through personal experience.
My Project
My students have requested titles that will transport them away from the daily worries of their life. These books represent their interests and desires. These 50 titles or themes have been personally requested by students for the library to purchase. There has been repeat requests for books about mythical creatures, wilderness survival and anime art. As librarian, I am compelled to acquire what they want to read.
No more screens.
If dragons, bush-crafts and Japanese animation art is what they want from a book, then I will do what I can to shelve it for them. It is more fun to checkout a book that you'll read then checkout a book just to go through the borrowing process.
