Student Autonomy in Kindergarten

My Project

My students are learning to be more independent through out the year. They thrive with structure, and I want to give them more choices on how and where they work for independent practice. The headphones will allow our classroom to be less cluttered by various device noise and allow focus through out the room. The lap desks will allow students to work in a variety of places through out the room.

I envision my students having more autonomy when working independently or in small group.

Being able to stay on task and and having the space provided to do so is crucial.
