My Students
My students are simply sweet. They come from many different backgrounds. Many of them are faced with daily obstacles that they can't necessarily control. Though they are faced with ups and downs, they come in eager, ready to learn and ready to share. We start as a class, build a sense of community and become family. We are a family that understands, encourages and supports one another.
Despite their hardships, my students are so full of life and so deserving.
Whether it's academic or personal, their growth is a beautiful thing. I'm so glad that I can witness and share this part of their lives.
My Project
We need 4 Kindle Fire tablets to expand our learning during science. We are a creative bunch and we use new century skills to help gain understanding of many concepts. These skills will help students to examine, discuss, and apply knowledge through creating and extending which will ultimately help prepare them for college and career in a 21st century life. I want my students to use the tablets to complete research and STEM activities.
My students need to have opportunities to incorporate technology with their daily studies as well STEM activities.
This will help prepare them for college and career in a 21st century life. By using the tablets, students will have more opportunities to use technology on a daily basis and explore many STEM concepts.
