This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergartners are so excited to be in school this year, since most have only attended school virtually. They are now at a point in their learning where they need hands on products to continue their knowledge of making words. The magnetic letters will offer students hands on experience manipulating letters to make short 3 letter words. They are very enthusiastic and are eager to become better readers and writers. These activities will be used as an independent center, so that they are able to work cooperatively with other classmates to reinforce their knowledge of reading.
