My Students
Help my elementary general music students to strum up another storm! My students need 4 more 3/4-sized guitars to continue learning how to play melodies and harmonies from around the world.
My students are kindergarten through fifth graders who attend a small, family-friendly school.
My students love to play instruments, and in particular, the guitar! They enjoy playing the guitar so much that they ask to come to the music room during lunch recess to play on the 4 guitars donated to our school last fall through generous donors on this website.
My Project
By providing 4 more 3/4-sized guitars for my students that match the original guitars we received last fall, you will allow my students to continue their guitar studies using well-made, beautiful-sounding instruments. The addition of 4 more student-sized guitars would allow twice the number of students to play guitar at any given moment in our music class activities. Similarly, you would be helping us work towards our goal of eventually obtaining a class set of 24 guitars. My students will continue learning how to pluck melodies and strum harmonies that come from many different cultures around the world.
Your donation will allow my students to play on high-quality guitars that are properly sized for small hands, thus making my students more successful as budding guitarists.
Through providing our school with more guitars, you will be nurturing my students' lifelong love of making music through strumming up a storm!
