it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Greetings! I would like to give my students the opportunity to be able to play guitar for the rest of their lives. This is a skill that my students will be able to do as a hobby and get them interested in music.
I have 47 8th graders in General Music and I would like to teach guitar as a part of my curriculum.
I currently teach at a school that is 70% Latino. A majority of them are ELL students. 77% of my students receive free and reduced lunch. A majority of them do not have access to an instrument. I am looking to provide a guitar unit for my students to teach them a lifelong skill. Any little help will be greatly appreciated!
