Help me give my students the opportunity to play the ukulele, a stringed instrument that will grab their interest!

My Project
My students at Kensington Elementary School want to play instruments when they come to music class! We currently have a few options in the classroom, but we do not have a set of stringed instruments sufficient for our class sizes and in playable condition. I would love for them to be able to experience music concepts on an easily accessible stringed instrument like the ukulele and to be able to say, “I can play an instrument!” My students are special in that they represent the diversity of our county, which includes significant poverty. I want to reach all of our children with the joy and hope of music!
