My Project

My first graders do not have books at home easy enough for them to read.

So, we are requesting easy readers which are books designed to help children learn to read.

Easy readers use a limited number of words that are easy to read.

They are composed of short sentences that are grammatically simple. The pictures help convey the meaning of the text and these books use predictable text placement and repetition. They are perfect for struggling readers.

With your donation, I will provide students with books they can take home that are easy enough for them to read.
