My Students
I'm quite lucky to teach at a school of brave explorers. My students come from diverse and international backgrounds with varied life experiences, but they all come with unlimited potential. I strive to make our classroom a place where progress is celebrated and learning is safe. I bring the curriculum to life with hands-on, collaborative, and innovative learning experiences.
My students enjoy collaborating and learning with each other as they discover their potential to be world changers.
We go beyond curriculum in our classroom to connect our learning to real world problems and experiences. We make learning matter!
My Project
We are excited about the opportunity to provide additional seating and storage options for our classroom! We are hoping that with the storage supplies in this project we can further individualize our learning in a streamlined and easy process that wastes no time in the distribution of supplies. We also have many students who love to spread out at the floor but are looking for surfaces to work on while they find their comfortable working space and we are excited to offer these new lap desks to provide a work surface as well! Additionally, for our students who love a traditional chair but want to fidget we look forward to getting some resistance bands that will allow them to receive physical input without getting distracted.
We know that providing individualized and exciting choices within our classroom both increases our engagement and spurs us onward to success.
The items in this project will help provide a structure to continue to provide individualized and exciting learning for each and every student in our classroom.
