My Project
I love my students, I am a proud special educator! I strive for them to become independent and active citizens in our community.
I serve students who come from low-income areas and have many struggles to overcome.
I have been teaching children with developmental disabilities for almost 20 years. After covid, our school had a terrible flood and all my materials were destroyed. This project will help me set up a functional classroom for my non-verbal students. This will provide them with structure, foster growth, and encourage communication.
My students will use the furniture for independent workstations in a structured teaching classroom. They will use all materials every day and it will contribute to the learning routine!
