My Project
I am requesting a kidney table, presenter remote, and a standing desk to further organize and structure my classroom in a more efficient way. I am asking for a kidney table to increase engagement during my small groups. With the shape of the table, students will be able to have meaningful conversations by making eye contact and squaring up their bodies to face the speaker. I will also be able to reach more students during small group time since it is larger than the table I currently have. I am also asking for a presenter remote to allow me to move around the room while also teaching. During my lessons, I am restricted to the front of my classroom. With a clicker, I will be able to teach as well as monitor my student engagement at the same time. I am asking for a standing desk to add structure to the way my students present. Students will be able to share their presentations and have a spot to place all of their materials. This will give them the confidence and the security to have a successful presentation.
These items will be loved by my classroom and bring the structure that my students crave.
