Stronger Minds, Brighter Futures

Help me give my students A Little Spot Book Set, and play therapy tools, to increase social-emotional learning at school, and explore play and art therapy techniques while in school-based therapy.

My Project

Little minds have BIG emotions! All students deserve a comfortable, warm, and welcoming environment to engage in social-emotional learning. As a school-based therapist, my goal is to provide a space for students to explore emotions, develop social skills, and process all of life’s substantial changes.

For elementary-age students, art and play therapy techniques provide an outlet for children to explore these areas in a way that is familiar to them.

I have noticed increased progress in students who are able to utilize play and art as a therapeutic form, promoting their social skills, language development, and understanding of relationships.

Utilizing the art supplies, emotional feelings charts, and other necessary items, I will be able to engage with students on an age-appropriate level and provide mental health services to them conveniently at their school.
