My students need 32 book boxes to store their independent reading books from the classroom library.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Radway's classroom raised $218

My Students
Help save our books! We have an assortment of classroom library books that we have collected for our classroom, but they are not properly stored after my students check them out. We need these book boxes in order to keep our books in good condition for years to come.
I teach 3rd grade in a low income, high poverty, school where many students speak English as a second language.
They have an excitement for learning despite the challenges that face them. Books seem to transport my students to a different world where their imagination sets them free as they learn and apply new reading strategies.
My Project
By providing these book bins, you will ensure that my students will be able to check out those books from the classroom library that take them to new places while they voraciously read during independent reading time. Each student will have their own storage container that will allow them to best take care of the community's materials. On top of that, the classroom library books will remain in tip-top shape for other students to use throughout the year.
With drastic budget cuts this past year, there is little money for classroom materials.
Your donation will help fill the budget gaps and will allow my 3rd graders to continue to check out classroom library books. You will help take my students on wonderful adventures as they read their books!
