Strong Starts: Literacy & Life Skills for Special Learners

Help me give my students with these much needed items: alphabet, phonics, and social emotional learning resources to help build foundational literacy skills and support their emotional growth in a special education setting.

My Project

My students are amazing, curious, and full of potential. They are in a special education setting where they work hard every day to overcome challenges and grow as learners and individuals. Many of them are just beginning their journey with letters, sounds, and words but they need the right tools to succeed.

This project will provide engaging alphabet and phonics resources to help my students develop essential early literacy skills.

These tools are designed to meet their unique learning needs through hands-on, multisensory activities that make learning fun and effective.

In addition to academic growth, I want to support their social and emotional development. The social emotional items in this project will help my students understand and express their feelings, build confidence, and interact positively with others skills that are just as important as reading and writing.
