My Project
My students are eager to learn and have a lot of energy! COVID-19 has impacted their learning by not allowing many of them to attend in person pre-school where fine motor and large motor skills are developed. My students have various special needs and I work closely with an Occupational Therapist to help provide fun learning and growing activities that will help our little ones build the muscles they need to be successful in school.
Having hand strength and fine motor coordination are some of the first vital things that students must have to conquer holding writing tools, writing, cutting, and coloring.
Coordination and large motor skills allow students to feel successful when playing with their peers during recess and physical education. I want my students, despite their various disabilities, to feel victorious and have joy while building their muscles and skills.
