Why We Need Your Support
My IB Physical Education students are a diverse group of high schoolers who thrive when given opportunities to challenge themselves physically and mentally.
Unfortunately, our PE program is limited in resources, and we don’t always have access to the supplies that make lessons engaging, inclusive, and safe. With the right equipment, I can provide students with meaningful activities that connect to their IB curriculum, foster teamwork, and encourage lifelong fitness habits.
How These Supplies Will Help
Stackable steps, yoga equipment, and golf clubs will allow students to fully participate in a variety of fitness units, from group exercise to personal wellness goals. Having adequate equipment means no student is left out and everyone can be actively engaged, whether we’re building endurance, practicing mindfulness, or working through team-based challenges. The floor seats, wall clock, and other materials will not only enhance their physical learning but also help create a classroom community built on unity, cooperation, and encouragement.
The Impact on Our Classroom
When students see that their PE environment is well-equipped, it sends the message that their health, growth, and voices matter. The supplies will make it possible for every student to feel included, supported, and motivated. By working together in activities that require communication, trust, and collaboration, students will strengthen not only their fitness but also their sense of belonging. This project is about more than just exercise — it’s about building confidence, connection, and community.
