Help me give my students who are new mothers access to transportation safety in a car.

My Students

The majority of my students predominantly receive free and reduced lunch. My students receive school support to overcome housing, economic, emotional, food, and natal insecurities. The school faculty and staff work to create a healthy educational school climate that provides students with life and workforce development skills.

We serve Black, Latinx, and Indigenous pregnant and parenting minors in San Francisco.

Any extra assistance toward their success is appreciated as they work toward earning their high school diploma. Students are guided to enter the workforce as they are trained to become job-ready through the use of a variety of technology. As their Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) instructor, I provide these young women with computer skills in digital and entrepreneurial instruction and basic science.

My Project

Teen moms need safe vehicle transportation for their infant and daily exercise for themselves. Help me give our teen moms a 3-in-1 car seat and stroller to provide both health and safety for the baby and mom.

Baby will sit safely and comfortably while in a car, and teen mothers will exercise while walking their child in a stroller.

My students will use this on their way to and from school and home. By providing safe access and healthy walking, students learn to care for their child's safety and their personal health.
