Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am an early childhood teacher, currently in a Pre-K classroom for the school year 2020-2021. I have a class of 20 students, primarily composed of English Language Learners. We are a Title I school which means that 90% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My students are split in half, 10 are in the classroom and the others are at home.
I want to provide my students with the best experience possible during this time of COVID-19. I am in need of adequate materials that will help motivate my students and support my instruction while they are at home. With your help, I can ensure that my students are receiving the best possible education available to them.
My Project
The materials selected have been selected carefully to give my students the opportunity to strive for success while learning at home. The bookbag kits will help with their math and literacy skills. The lined paper will help the students learn to write properly, along with the pencils. The handwriting booklets will also help my students master their letter formation. My goal is for my students to be ready for kindergarten regardless of the world conditions. With your help, every single student will receive these materials specially ordered for each of them.
