My Project
The gift cards that I am requesting is to purchase supplemental resources that will support students' learning in Math and Science. I have researched many projects, activities, task cards, and other materials that I feel would benefit students in whole group and small group learning. I have used TPT resources with my students for years, and some resources have really helped my students to learn more, grasp concepts quickly and to also motivate them and keep them engaged.
My goal for this project is to provide my student with rigorous, fun and engaging, useful resources that would best help my students with deficit areas in Math and Science and provide enrichment activities for students who have mastered on level activities and need more to "push" them into the next level of learning.
My students are special because they motivate each other, they praise each other and know how to take accountability for their own learning. They can critically think and collaborate with their peers to discuss and decide on a simple solution to a problem. I have seen so many of my students grow academically in a whole school year. I'm proud to say that majority of students have reached one to two grade levels with the help of supplemental materials as well as explicit direct instruction from their awesome teacher, ME!!!!
