My Project

I am a Baltimore City Special education teacher working in the Park Heights community. All of my students are functioning below grade level and struggle academically to complete on grade level tasks. We are requesting Big Joe Milano Bean Bag Chair, Snacks, books and more. The things that I included in my DonorsChoose will help students to persevere during academic challenges. I also include things that can be utilize when they are facing academic challenges like a arts and craft book to take breaks, earning snacks, and a quiet space to take breaks. My goal for this project is to motivate students and strive for academic excellence. I know that they face challenges, but they have people in there corner that want to see them succeed.
