Help me give my students the resources they need to play their instrument successfully. Many of these items are crucial to good music making and most are for school instruments for students with financial need.

My Project

There will be over 200 students in orchestra next school year at Drake Middle School.

Many students can not afford an instrument.

Because every students deserves the opportunity to participate in wonderful music making, we try to provide quality instruments and materials. The maintenance and upkeep can sometimes be challenging! Strings, cases, and shoulder rests, that eventually wear out, need to be replaced. This project will help out with the costs of these crucial materials students need to be a successful string player in the orchestra program at our school. Pencils are extremely important in a music class. When attached to magnets, students will always a pencil at the ready that is attached to the music stand! Some students are always looking for a challenge. These solo time books can provide that opportunity!
