This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 1st graders are focused, creative and love a good craft! Our class parties are a great time to celebrate all the hard work they’ve put into their learning. This is the time I like to pull out the activities that take extra time to do.
No better way to show off their creativity, than with a beaded keychain that they can attach to their backpack!
They can string together their own keychain with colors and patterns that they choose. Showing off their keychains and letting people know just how hard they worked will be the new topic of conversation they will start with!
My students thrive on reaching goals and having a fun activity at the end of that goal only pushes them harder to reach it!
