Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each student in our school is awesome in their own way! Even though they have a disability, that doesn't stop them from being amazing students! You would be surprise with what our students can do. They try their best to complete their assignments, be respect to everyone, and also show kindness where it matters the most!
During our Autism Acceptance Walk, the students walk around the school cheering and holding up signs that they made.
After they finish walking around the school building, then they go to the parking lot for some fun activities! The activities include dancing, playing games, and also enjoying snacks. The glasses and the beads are items that the students love! The students will start off the walk by wearing the glasses and the beads. By providing the students with these items, they will be the life of the walk! As teachers who work with students with disabilities, we also try our best to give our students everything that puts a smile on their face! The "Autism Bears" will be for our students who have difficult holding items in their hands along with the slap bracelets. Each bag will be catered to the students and their needs.
