My Students
I teach at a school that serves Pre-K through third grade. I am a second grade teacher that has a bright group of 19 students. They have a wide variety of interests from sports to science to animals. They are all bright, capable students that come from many different backgrounds and homes.
My students love to read, write and learn throughout the room.
It is important to offer them different work spaces that get them up out of their desks.
My Project
My students love to read and work all around the room. It is important to offer them many different work spaces to use throughout the day. We love to lay on the rug, sit at tables, and relax on bean bags while we are reading, writing, and learning.
With these two rugs, my students will have a place to get away from their desks to stretch out and learn.
I feel it will create a more relaxing, yet still engaging learning environment for all the students. They will be able to have options as to where they perform best, other than a traditional desk.
