Stress Relief

My Students

All of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Some are new to our country, and some have escaped war-torn countries despite their circumstances.

My students enjoy coming to school and learning, but they are in need of some items in our classroom to help them be successful in the classroom.

My students attend an inner-city school with a 100% poverty rate. They all come from different backgrounds, but together they work well with each other. We work to build a community in our classroom and a safe environment.

My Project

Having these fidget toys will help my students be able to calm down in our calming space. Also they will be useful when it is testing and they are anxious to help calm them down. Also the chairs will be nice to have for students to sit down on and calm down with the fidget toys.

Students need resources to help them to self manage their emotions and to properly calm down.

When students experience strong emotions this will help them to calm down in a better way rather than misbehaving or taking it out on other people.
