Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of our students attend a virtual school and have limited interaction with each other to build social skills. This program will use different story books to help children learn, reflect, and practice social emotional learning aligned with the CASEL competencies.

A lesson plan and presentation has been created for each book to help reinforce the skills.

Students practice the skills they learn daily through the different activities associated with each of the books. Each week, one student will be awarded the book we read for participating in the program.
