My Project

My second graders amaze me every day with their kindness, curiosity, and excitement for learning. They come from diverse backgrounds, but together they build a classroom family where everyone feels valued. I love watching them grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally as they learn to work together, solve problems, and celebrate each other’s successes. Their bright spirits deserve a learning environment that supports every part of their journey — their minds, their hearts, and their relationships.

This project will provide my students with social-emotional learning tools and everyday supplies that will help them thrive.

The SEL resources will give them strategies to manage emotions, build friendships, and develop confidence. Basic classroom supplies will ensure that every student has the tools they need to fully engage in lessons, create meaningful work, and feel proud of their learning. Together, these materials will help build a stronger, more supportive classroom community where every child can shine.
