Strengthening Fine Motor Skills

My Project

I currently teach three and four year old students with disabilities. They each have their own gifts, however, most of the students struggle with developing fine motor skills, pre-readiness concepts, eye-hand coordination, etc. By providing rich experiences for them to develop these skills, such as teaching them how to put together puzzles, building language by labeling and talking about the pictures on the puzzles and other fine motor materials.

Through the use of puzzles with knobs and other manipulatives, I will be able to work individually with my students to build their fine motor and pre-readiness skills.
