Help me give my students athletes the basic equipment needed to build the fundamental strength, mobility, and flexibility necessary to perform their best in their sport. Each item is designed to strengthen the athlete at his/her own level.
I coach wrestling and football for both a middle school and high school in an area surrounded by extreme poverty levels. This project will provide the basic equipment to my athletes needed to build foundational strength, mobility, and flexibility, and rehabilitation after injuries. The mini bands are used to increase speed and agility by applying the right amount of resistance during footwork drills for skill plays in football. The 41 inch resistance bands are perfect for providing shoulder stability to wrestlers and QB, as well as injury rehabilitation for all athletes. The TriggerPoint GRID Foam Roller will enhance performance and help with rehabilitation. The large sandbag and Bulgarian bag will provide wrestlers with adequate individualized training equipment.
Every donation will directly impact a wrestler and football players from grades 6-12 for many years to come.
