it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is implementing a new digital hall pass system, Smart Pass, to help manage student movement efficiently and minimize classroom disruptions. To support this transition, our classroom needs an iPad and a lockable stand to create a centralized kiosk station for students to check in and out seamlessly. This will ensure that instructional time remains focused while allowing students to responsibly manage their hall passes.
This project will provide our classroom with an iPad and a secure, lockable stand to function as a Smart Pass kiosk.
This stationary setup will allow students to request and manage their hall passes digitally without disrupting instruction. Instead of verbal interruptions or paper sign-out sheets, students can use the kiosk for quick and efficient pass management, aligning with our school’s new system. A designated kiosk will centralize the process, reducing the time needed for pass approvals and keeping transitions smooth. A classroom kiosk also ensures that all students have equitable access to the system, regardless of personal device availability, and allows students to practice important self-regulation skills in our academic world language classes.
