Help me give my students Sphero Robots to help them code and learn 21st century skills in the classroom.

My Students
My students are hard-working, creative, curious, and kind children who strive every day to improve their learning. They come from diverse backgrounds and struggle with common inner city barriers. In our ever changing world of education, technology is now a "norm." This is why I am requesting a Sphero Robots for my students. Students are engaged by technology. There are wonderful resources out there to assist with what students are learning in school. Learning can be fun, competitive and there is quick feedback (which is so important) to assess students.
My desire is to close the achievement gap for my students and provide them with more technology in the classroom to get them ready for 21st century skills with STEM.
Your donation will be generously received and used by the most deserving students I know. I am often told that my students are lucky to have me as a teacher, but I know I am even more lucky to have the privilege of knowing them. I would love to share that privilege with the donors that contribute to our project.
My Project
I would like to bring more STEM education to my middle school students. As the math coach I have this ability. After going to Space Camp this summer I want to expose students to more STEM activities. I want to get a Sphero Robots for students to be able to see the affects of coding. Students can also use error analysis to problem solve through coding and robotics. As the Digital Literacy Computer Science Ambassador for Massachusetts this will also help me spread how to use robotics within the DLCS Standards. I will be doing presentations around the state to show teachers how to use these standards in their classrooms and the Spheroes can help! Students can see how math and science are connected through activities with the Spheroes. This can help bring math and science alive for students in all grade levels.
Having more STEM activities inside the classroom with the Spheroes will help bring math and science alive in an authentic way!
They will get 21st century skills that they will be able to use for a lifetime. The Spheroes can be used in a center activity or as a whole group demonstration. Students can start to understand NASA's mission to get us to Mars and how coding and robotics are used to get us there.
